Unlike traditional sealed suppressors, every Wraith suppressor is fully user-serviceable. Individual baffles, tubes, extensions, and end caps can all be disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and reconfigured as needed.
Routine maintenance helps maximize performance, simplify future cleaning, and extend the life of your suppressor.
Before, during, and after use, periodically inspect your suppressor to ensure it remains properly assembled and securely attached.
Verify:
End cap is fully seated
HUB adapter is securely installed
Suppressor remains properly mounted to the firearm
Components are free of visible damage
Baffles remain in the correct Core Caliber configuration
During extended shooting sessions or heavy use, periodically verify that the suppressor and end cap remain secure. Always allow the suppressor to cool before handling or tightening components.
If anything appears loose or damaged, discontinue use until the issue has been corrected.
Cleaning intervals will vary depending on ammunition type, firing schedule, and overall use.
As a general recommendation:
Inspect your suppressor before and after use.
Periodically verify that the suppressor remains securely mounted during extended shooting.
Clean the suppressor whenever excessive carbon buildup is present or performance begins to change.
Heavy firing schedules or dirty ammunition may require more frequent cleaning.
Routine inspection is often more important than cleaning after a specific round count.
Allow the suppressor to cool completely before handling.
Remove the suppressor from the firearm before beginning any maintenance.
Remove the end cap and allow the Baffle Stack to slide free from the suppressor body. If the baffles do not slide free on their own, use a non-marring tool to press them from the suppressor body. Carbon buildup may occasionally require additional force during removal.
Inspect each component for:
Carbon buildup
Excessive wear
Damage
Cracks or deformation
Replace any damaged components before returning the suppressor to service.
Clean individual components using an ultrasonic cleaner or a suppressor-safe cleaning solution.
After cleaning:
Remove excess carbon and debris.
Dry all components completely.
Inspect threads and mating surfaces.
Reapply Wraith Suppressor Lubricant to each baffle before reassembly.
Avoid abrasive cleaning methods that may damage component surfaces.
Reassemble the suppressor following the Setup & Assembly Guide.
Before firing:
Confirm the correct Core Caliber is installed.
Verify all components are fully assembled.
Ensure the suppressor is properly mounted.
Check alignment using a caliber-appropriate alignment rod.
One of the biggest advantages of the Wraith Modular Suppression System™ is the ability to replace individual components instead of replacing the entire suppressor.
If a baffle, end cap, or extension becomes damaged, it can typically be replaced without replacing the serialized suppressor body.
If you’re unsure whether a component should be replaced, contact Wraith Support before continuing to use your suppressor.
Before storing your suppressor:
Ensure all components are clean and dry.
Store in a cool, dry location.
Apply a light coating of Wraith Suppressor Lubricant to cleaned baffles before long-term storage.
Keep components organized if storing the suppressor disassembled.
